The cheapest way in is the electric sled, and it is the only one where a teenager of 15 can drive. Its listing is titled a private tour while its own description says groups are small, which are two different things: ask which one you are buying before you pay for the first. The snowmobile safari is the one for an adult who wants to drive something with power, and it is also the only tour whose page lists neither the reindeer nor a photo with Santa.
The Private Evening with Santa is a different purchase from the other four. It adds northern lights watching and a dinner of fire-grilled salmon in a kota, and its price is for the whole party rather than each person. Its page does not say how large the party can be, or mention winter clothing.

Questions people ask
How long do you spend with Santa?
None of the five tour pages says. Each gives the length of the whole tour, from pickup to drop-off, and describes the meeting with Santa without a time. If the visit itself is what your children are coming for, ask Snowtrail how long you are inside the cabin before choosing between the cheaper and dearer ways of getting there.
Where is the cabin?
Snowtrail does not publish an address or a distance. Its pages describe the cabin as deep in the forest, in a small, tranquil village far from the bustle of Rovaniemi, and all five tours include pickup within 10 km of the centre, so you do not need to find it yourself. It is not Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle, which is a separate place and is not part of any of these tours.
Can a four-hour tour be booked privately?
Snowtrail says any of its tours can be made private, and gives no price for doing so, so you will need a quote. Two of the tours already use the word private in different senses. The snowmobile sleigh ride is sold as a private tour, while the husky tour includes a private meeting with Santa inside what is otherwise not described as a private booking. Ask which applies before assuming your group will be the only one.
