Salla: activities, tours and guides
Salla's outings are sold by a handful of local companies around the village and the Sallatunturi fell, and none of them goes through the big booking platforms.
Salla’s winter outings come from a few local companies, and all of them are booked directly with the company or through the regional tourist site’s store rather than on GetYourGuide or Viator. The prices shown are the operators’ own, and some do not say whether they are per person.
Most snowmobile trips start at Sallatunturi, the fell resort about 10 km from the village centre on the Kuusamo road. The reindeer outings and the park’s husky safaris start at Salla Wilderness Park, a family kennel about 5 km from the village takes private husky groups, and the Santa visit is at a café on the Arctic Circle. The regional tourist site gives Rovaniemi as 150 km away and Kuusamo as 110.1
