Sodankylä: activities, tours and guides

Sodankylä's winter outings are sold mostly by two small companies based in the village, with a family husky farm down the Rovaniemi road at Vuojärvi.

Almost every outing sold in Sodankylä comes from two small companies. Arctic Wonders runs its trips from an office in the village, and Arctic SISU Experience collects guests from addresses around it. A family husky farm, Huskygorod, sits further out at Vuojärvi, on the Rovaniemi road. Its own site includes a minivan from a meeting point, although its platform listings do not, and from this winter it plans sled rides too.

Arctic SISU Experience also sells its outings on its own website, for noticeably less than on the platforms, without always saying whether the price is per person. The price pages below set out both.

Both companies sell their aurora hunts on two platforms, and the terms are not the same: the cheaper Viator listing for Arctic Wonders cannot be refunded. The northern lights guide below sets the four side by side.
