Husky safari price in Tornio: totals, extras and terms

The short answer
Budget by what the price leaves out, not by the headline. The Swedish kennel's price includes a home-cooked meal and a private tour but not the transfer, and it is in kronor. The Kemi ride's price includes a full winter outfit and the drive from town to the kennel. The Keminmaa safari is the lowest euro price per head but includes the least. For a family, only the Swedish seated ride prints enough to add up a total before you ask.
Every husky price near Tornio is per person, so a party’s total is simple arithmetic. What makes the prices hard to set side by side is what each one leaves out.
Across the river, in kronor
The kennel on the Swedish side prices its seated ride at 2,095 kronor a head and 995 for a child of seven to twelve. For two adults and two children in that age band, that is 6,180 kronor. The price covers a private tour, a stop for photographs, time with the dogs afterwards and a home-cooked lunch, or a snack on the evening ride. It does not cover the transfer to the kennel, which is arranged on request at a price the page does not give.1
Its driving tours are for two. Two and a half hours at the runners comes to 6,000 kronor for a pair, and the four-hour tour that starts you as a passenger to 11,000 kronor, lunch included in both and the transfer again extra.2
Towards Kemi, in euros
The Kemi ride is 195 euros a head, 390 for two adults, and includes the most equipment: a full winter outfit, the drive from the safari house to the kennel, five kilometres on the sled and a hot drink.3 Children ride in a parent’s sled, but the listing gives no child fare, so a family total cannot be worked out until you ask. The company’s own website lists the trip without any price, so the booking platform is where the figure is published.4
The Keminmaa safari is 116 euros a head, 232 for two, for a private two hours with sleds, equipment and coffee or tea. It mentions a child discount without a figure, and no clothing.5
Reading the totals
The Keminmaa safari costs the least and includes the least; the Kemi ride costs more and includes clothing and transport from town; the Swedish kennel prices in another currency and includes a meal and a party of your own. Which is good value depends on what your party would otherwise have to bring or arrange. The rides are compared feature by feature on husky safari in Tornio.
Questions people ask
Do we pay the Swedish kennel in kronor?
Its prices are printed in Swedish kronor, and its pages say nothing about paying in euros or by card. This site does not convert them, because any conversion would be a figure the kennel never published and would change with the exchange rate. Ask the kennel how it takes payment when you book, and check what your card charges for a payment in kronor.
What does the word 'from' mean on the Swedish prices?
Each of the kennel's tour pages prints its price as a starting figure, from so many kronor per person, without saying what would make it higher. It may depend on the date, the time of day or the size of your party. Ask for the exact figure for your date and group before paying, and use the published one only as the floor of your budget.
Can we cancel if the weather turns?
The Kemi and Keminmaa rides are sold on booking platforms that refund in full up to 24 hours before the start. The Swedish kennel prints no cancellation terms and no weather policy on any tour page, so for the most expensive rides on this page, ask it in writing what happens if you cancel or if it calls the tour off.
