Reindeer safari price in Enontekiö: the farm visits side by side
Illustration photo: a reindeer in Norway, not at the farms priced here.
The short answer
For a family that can reach the farm on its own, the lunch visit is the better value: cheaper for the adults, longer, with a meal. The dearer visit earns its extra twenty euros an adult only if you need collecting from your accommodation. The one-hour visit is the cheapest way in. The herder's sleigh rides have no published price, so ask before you plan around them.
How the operators compare
Prices are the operators' own published starting prices as of the date this guide was updated, and they change through the season.

In Hetta the adult fare decides less than what comes with it.
Lunch or a lift
The husky farm’s visit is the cheaper for adults and the longer, and ends with lunch in a kota.1 The other visit costs twenty euros more an adult, lasts two hours and includes a transfer from your hotel or cabin.2 A family of four with a car pays less on the first and gets a meal; a family without one is paying the difference for the transport.
The herder
The local herder’s sleigh rides and half-days are quoted on the phone, so they cannot be added up here.

Questions people ask
Why do two pages give different prices for the lunch visit?
The husky farm's product page gives 75 euros for an adult and 50 for a child under twelve, while its area page, describing a farm across the road, gives 65 and 45. The product page is the one you book from, so this page uses it; if the difference matters to you, ask which applies on your date.
What happens if we cancel?
Only the company behind the visit with the transfer publishes terms: nothing is refunded inside seven days of the start, and cancellations seven days or more ahead are refunded less an administration fee. The husky farm's reindeer page gives no cancellation terms, so ask for them when you book.
Is the short visit a good deal for a family?
At 25 euros an adult it is the cheapest reindeer contact in Hetta, but the page prints no child price for it and says it happens only occasionally, preferably on Thursdays, so it cannot be planned or totalled for a family in advance. Treat it as a bonus if the date works rather than the plan.
