For a family or friends of up to seven who want reindeer and a meal as well, choose the private trip to the farm, as long as everyone is tall enough to ride. For a couple who want the aurora and a night away from the village, the night ride with a cabin is the only private option that includes a bed.

Can each of us have our own snowmobile?

On the farm trip, yes: the price is per person sharing a machine, and each extra machine is booked as an extra place in a special age group, up to three machines for the group. The ranch and the night ride do not say how machines are shared, so ask when you book.

What should we wear?

All three lend the outer layer: the ranch lends overalls, a helmet and boots, the farm trip a one-piece suit, boots and helmets with heated visors, and the night ride thermal winter gear. The ranch says a warm woollen layer underneath is not included, so bring your own.

Can we be collected?

The night ride collects you from your accommodation or the airport and takes you back. The ranch meets you at its saloon by Lake Pyhäjärvi, and the farm trip starts at an address near Luosto with car parking, so both need your own way there.
